Stier Supply Company engages Everest Training & Consulting to enhance team building communication skills

Columbia, S.C. March 25, 2006 - Stier Supply Co., custom manufacturing, supply and installation of doors and windows for new construction, has contracted with Ed Pritchard of Everest Training & Consulting to design and deliver a Team Building Communication Skills workshop.

"We have grow significantly in the past four years" stated Lewis Browning, chair of the executive board committee, "and as our team has grown we need to learn how to communicate more effectively and understand each other to continue to grow the business." "We had initially focused on our top eight executives / managers for this team building communication workshop, but when we clearly understood the benefits, we invited all 24 of our supervisors / managers for a Saturday session" explained Jon Stier, President. "The tools and insights provided will definitely breakdown communication barriers and should decrease conflict and stress." The program used a blended approach: the online personality assessment instrument (DISC) from Inscape Publications, small group case study scenarios, and one-on-one role-plays.

Everest Training & Consulting is committed to enabling organizations to innovate to profitability: to apply critical sales, communication, team building and leadership skills to create a competitive advantage and to maximize each person's contribution through individual, professional, and personal growth.
