Pacor Inc. Utilizes Everest Training to Prepare for e-Sourcing Online Auction with a Major Customer

Cinnaminson NJ, June 2004 - Pacor, Inc., with over 75 years of experience supplying insulation, custom fabrication and distribution, engaged the services of Everest Training & Consulting to prepare their unit Vice Presidents, Sales and Account Managers, Sales Engineers and other executive personnel for the e-sourcing online auction scheduled in August 2004 by one of Pacor's largest customers.

"Pacor is a company known for its timely service and knowledgeable associates" stated Jim Brown Executive Vice President. "However, with Internet based e-sourcing auctions to bid on sourcing opportunities we needed someone with experience to strengthen our e-negotiating position" said Brown. "We needed a blend of e-sourcing auction theory and practical experience to focus and control our strategies during this phase of procurement. The role-play bidding scenario that Everest created for our training workshop dubbed LHR Air Conditioning was a good learning experience and clearly showed us that we need to do more work to prepare for e-sourcing auctions" stated Brown. The program used a blended learning approach using classroom discussion, live on-line demonstrations, and simulated online e-sourcing auction complete with bidding and pre and post meetings with buyers.

Everest Training & Consulting is committed to enabling organizations to innovate to profitability: to apply critical sales, e-sourcing and leadership skills to create a competitive advantage and to maximize each person's contribution through individual, professional, and personal growth.
