Manufacturing
Engineer seeks coaching
by Everest to enhance skills in Assertive Communication and Thought
Leadership
New Haven, Mich.,
March 2007. NetShape International LLC is a global leader in the design,
development and manufacturing of impact energy management systems. The
Human Resource Manager associated with the Michigan Automotive Unit
contracted with Everest Training & Coaching as a business coach
to help the lead manufacturing engineer working with program managers
be more effective in communicating and motivating the program teams.
"We are a lean, fast paced, growing supplier and
we need to communicate in a collegial and effective manner" said
HR Manager Gwen Moeggenborg. "Our fast track managers need to develop
thought leadership skills to maintain our culture of urgency, safety
first all focused on meeting the needs of the customer. Ed's experience
in the unique automotive OEM / Tier I et. al. environment were just
what we were looking for." "Ed's focus on a situational management
approach and the skills needed to implement this flexibility in dealing
with others has been very helpful in communicating and motivating others",
said Jamie Rosenberg, Manufacturing Engineer. Our discussions over the
three month period applying managerial concepts to current situations
has been a great learning experience. I was actually able to put some
of the ideas immediately into practice and observe the results"
said Rosenberg. "It definitely was time and investment well spent."
