"I would like to let you
know that the two days of team training I attended in Dayton, Ohio earlier
this month was packed with some very good tools that I am putting to use
already. It was very informative and I was able to identify some specific
areas within myself to work on to become a more effective team member."

To meet the challenges of success
in the work place, one skill continues to underlie all others: the ability
to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, superiors and subordinates.
Without good interpersonal communication skills, all other functions in
the workplace suffer. This program examines the interpersonal communication
process and focuses on the critical skills of sending messages, listening
and providing feedback. Case studies and interactive group work are used
to develop good interpersonal communication skills in the workplace including
difficult or conflict situations. Skills in verbal and nonverbal interpersonal
communication habits are reviewed and practiced. The DISC personality
test profile is used as a tool in the training to assist in analyzing
and understanding communication style behavior of individuals involved
in the communication process.
